CAPCOM please give us the Sinister Seal layered Armor set on PC! (TRUE Magnamalo Set)
Honestly, the title says it all, but for everyone else:

The Switch version features what I consider to be a badass version of the Magnamalo set (Sinister Seal).

The downside to this is that it's only possible to get on the Switch with the Amiibo figures(basically a scannable Toy figure).

This is Magnamalo (SPOILER AHEAD):

But when you see the Magnamalo set and then compare it to the Sinister Seal, I honestly have to say, that I like the Sinister Seal set much better and that it was modeled a touch more after a Magnamalo.

But decide for yourself:
Magnamalo-Sinister Seal Armor[nintendowire.com]

and this is the "standard" Magnamalo Set you will get as it is in the PC-Version:

Even if we never see it officially someone will probably have it modded in by the end of the month anyway.

Well thats my second wish for this to happen but somewhere someone wrote, that the needed data is wiped clean from PC Port (Maybe Switch emu data port possible?)

I mean I'm pretty sure people ported Rise models into World months and months ago, so I don't see that being a big problem.

I would pay for each set for the price of the amiibo like for real...

I really dont like how they hide some of the good contents behind bloody amibo . I probably cant even buy the damn thing.
Those layer armor could have been a reward or some hard event quest...

The Amiibo lock is pretty ridiculous for a multi-platform game. If PC had its own way to receive the amiibo layered armor, fine, but not only is that not the case but they are doing the same thing again with Malzano layered armor for Sunbreak.

I love my Switch. But, locking content behind Amiibo is a ♥♥♥♥ move imo. But, that's the Nintendo we all know and love~

Yes , a friendly reminder of how aggressive nintendo is when it come to monetising stuffs..

Like. I love Megaman and bought the collection. Switch version has some extra challenges... But, yeah, you've guessed it right. I need the bloody amiibo...

That gives me more reason for hating Nintendo

TBF. The publisher's are also to blame. It's not like Nintendo forces them to add amiibo support at gunpoint as far as I know.

But ultimately the problem wouldn't exist if people were not dumb enough to buy into it. So, the real blame is there tbh.

From my point of view the issue could be solved if the amiibo were not Nintendo exclusive. At least not the way they are treated. An ingame goodie all nice and fine as part of merchandise. I really want the merchandise as collectibles, so I am a fan.

It would suffice or make sense if Capcom and any other game concered offers alternatives. Thinking of MH amiibo specifically: have them add codes which can be redeemed for PC version and whatsoever. That would in fact increase sale numbers of amiibos beyond the static Nintendo audience.

A nice The Witcher collectible set with additional redemption codes for Steam and GOG? I would have nothing to complain aside of: WHERE?

But yeah, by the end of the day it is consumer behaviour which dictates what kind of industry stuff is going on. No matter the critiques about amiibos one can praise about them: the ingame rewards were never game breaking. It is always just a goodie in addition to an already great figurine.

I still feel itchy about the awesome looking layered armour announced for Sunbreak, though...

I wish Capcom and Nintendo would work together to make special events for PC players to acquire them. I would not mind some silly Nintendo advertisement event like the Sonic race ones. I probably would not even mind transport missions... ahahahaha... :MHRISE_Felyne:

Having content locked behind physical items that might not be easy to find. (In some cases even get scalped.) Is a bloody horrible idea.

I was yesterday in an electronic store. They had literally tons of amiibos unsold. I think the amount circulating through the market is more than sufficient, especially after seen what happened to Skylanders. No idea how you get scalped when dozens and dozens of supposedly rare amiibo are discounted for sale because no one seemingly want them.
Same for the Game & Watch of Zelda. They were half price and there were hundreds of them.
