Question about Charge Blade

In MH:W THere were Charge Blades with Impact Phials and elemental damage. But you needed to use Hidden Element to draw that elemental damage out.

There are Impact Phials with Elemental damage in Rise, but I dont see a similar Hidden Element "talent"

Anyone know in what circumstances they deal elemental damage?

I think it's just you don't need hidden element anymore to deal the elemental damage. As in the elemental damage is dealt when the phials are consumed or when you charge your sword. Maybe not on the sword part i'm not sure but I'm pretty sure on the phials being used up part.

I thought Hidden Element was to use any damage numbers in parenthesis.

hidden element requires free elem talent from equipments, mhrise doesnt have that talent

Hidden element is something completely different and in World you didn't need that for phials either.

If you use elemental CB, then phials will be discharge of that element, if you use raw CB, then phials will be impact, that's pretty much all there is to it.

But there are still CB's with Impact Phials and Elemental damage. In world they were all hidden element, but in Rise it just does Impact and elemental damage?

No they weren’t. Elemental and Hidden Element are two different things

Ok, regardless of the talent names that I am getting wrong in world. In Rise. How does an Impact phial with elemental damage deal elemental damage? That is the question I am asking.

It deals elemental damage with regular attacks. Phial type affects the elemental discharge attacks only. An impact phial type CB with elemental damage will not deal elemental damage with phials.
