Yes I'm in the hub, and yes I chose the join request mode so people can join. Anyone else managed to get any online players yet?

You have to put a password on your lobby.

You don't have to make a lobby for people to join you via join request.

I have the same issue, if I post a join request, 95% of the time it goes unanswered unless I'm posting for a popular hunt like the final boss. I can join lobbies and join others via their join requests, but I rarely get anyone joining mine.

I think it's less of a technical issue and more likely the case that most players are simply playing solo and not interested in group hunts for monsters they can comfortably hunt solo.

i can't get people to join until about 5 mins have passed. on switch i get joined immediately but on pc it takes forever
