Do you mean in terms of character progression or mechanics? Cause you won't have anything character related carry over.

Nothing .
But some of its game mechanic is based on World . Like the dog riding .
Even Wirebug is a glorified Slinger.....
I disagree. The Wirebugs are an integral part of movement and combat. They're simultaneously your "Super" meter, and your in and out of combat mobility. Managing your Wirebugs use is an important part of the game. It has a decent recovery mechanic, used for powerful moves, and allows for... easily the most fun movement I've had in a long time. Allowing some play styles IG mains RISE up, and stay aloft for even longer times.

Progression wise, none.

Mechanic wise, theres a few.

There will be familiar attacks you can do with weapons such as savage axe mode on CHB avaliable in the form of something called "Arts" (Requires quests to unlock certain ones) as well as several quality of life things such as being able to move while consuming consumables (For reference, in older titles you were not able to move while using, say, a potion)

The skill system is pretty much the same as in World with adding levels versus the point system in older games ( For example you only need 1 instance of Attack Up to benefit versus needing a net total of 10+ points like in older games )

Smithing feels like it has roughly the same amount of progression speed as in World so you will be able to atleast get your weapon upgrade in 1-3 kills (Unless you are like me and can NOT get a plate drop to save your damn soul to upgrade your HH to a much better one)

There are a few familiar skins for weapons too you might recognize. IIRC the base metal and bone weapons are close to the ones found in World ( More sure on the metal one than bone ) but overall the game has plenty of different skinned weapons to enjoy as well as a few returning "silly" ones.

Overall, if you played World, you will enjoy this and will quickly get use to the differences found as none are jarring.

- NOTE - Am, typing this half awake so if something is messed up or incorrect I apolgize in advance. Caffiene needed lol.

So there is still the savage mod in MHR PC ?
I have to find this specific quest for the art ? thats why I see no axe symbol, but a sword symbol where I buff the things of my charge blade ?

Honestly I kinda prefer since, it feels a lot more useful (just wish they the kinsect buff with the slinger shot but instead make it relate to the bugs themselves)
