Even with 16 max players in hub for MHW, it was not really enough.
Sure, but when you make many friends through the game, it's nice to be able to be in the same large session.
Same with the forums.
Seen plenty nowadays.
Switch hardware definitely can push the player limit to 8 (Switch local wireless connection limit). And I'm sure that the lobby didn't put much stress on Switch hardware, since you'll be hunting in 4 man team anyway.
Oh, that's interesting. I guess MHW was the only MH game that had more than four player hubs.
