Running a G9 samsung and even tho resolution is detected at 5,120 x 1,440 i can only select up to 21:9 , all the widscreen homies upvote let cap see this post please add aspect ratio of 32:9 thanks!

I don't see the harm in that even thought I don't understand the appeal myself.

Guess that means it's a +1 from me.

I mean whats the appeal about 16:9 just play 4:3

Dude. Do you realise ultra wide monitors takes a lot of space even compared to a 16:9.

As a busy man who use a computer more than for gaming alone I need that space. Not that I expect the average Steam user to understand that.

Besides, just like I don't need VR to be immersed, I don't need ultrawide either. So, no, I don't understand the appeal and that's perfectly okay. What I can understand is that SOME people do care thus why I'm agreeing to this.

Do I need to clarify further or can you wrap your head around that?

Passionate is not the word I'd use. I'm going straight to the point. Right for the jugular because I respect my time and by extension yours.

yeah sucks this doesnt support 32:9, 21:9 looks great on my G9 but the black bars are super annoying.

hoping we get a mod that does fix that for us :)

Members of the WSGF community have partially fixed aspect ratio support above 21x9 already. You'll need to grab the WSGF discord server link until the person that made the fix for the demo wakes up and can update the plugin on Flawless Widescreen, otherwise we've temporally removed the broken HUD fix so the aspect ratio and FoV fixes still work, but you'll need to grab that from the discord.

Edit: I'm assuming linking to external sources is probably disabled on this community hub.

Links to the required sites and information are in the description, just remember the base plugin won't work at the minute without the fix from the discord.

Update: The person that made the fix has updated FWS to remove the HUD fix, so the partial fix should just work out the box.

Update 13/01/2022: The fix should now work as intended, the HUD slider is now a % from the Left of the screen. You will need to start the game, set it to 21x9, then restart the game with the fix enabled.

UGGGGH! I just posted in another thread about this, I'm glad that I found this post, hopefully they will add the support, it's incredible that RE8 supports it and this game doesn't.

Yes, that's the fix!!! That's the most useful fix, sadly Capcom and Denuvo in the game could take this a hack subject to a ban. So better be careful not to use it only.

Not sure Denuvo would be the issue here but definitely some anti-cheat they might have implemented. I'm refraining to use it as well for the time being.

Download flawless widescreen and then run it and play rise, i have a odyssey g9 running fullscreen 32:9 and runs max settings butter smooth gameplay.
