Any news on pre-load for MHRise on PC?

Just wanted to know if there was any news on pre-load for PC?

Finding mixed news; not sure what to believe. Have meh internet so it'd be nice if I could download it beforehand

I don't have any confirmation, but this is such a standard practice on Steam nowadays that you have nothing to worry about. You'll get your chance to preload. Also, the game is not going to take nearly as much space as Monster Hunter World, so don't worry about it too much.

Thanks for the reassuring words. I just really wanna play it - been waiting so long for another MH game its akin to withdrawal symptoms XD

Pre-loads tend to be pretty rare I find. Wouldn't count on it if I were ya~ Capcom might consider it not worth the risk/effort, especially since it's a smaller size.


I know that struggle with bad net as well. Will take a minimum of 4 days for me to download it after it releases. But not like this is a highly competitive game. And I'll be the first among my friends to probably play it.

You might be right.

It's just for me I have to consider whether to pay full price (which is alot in my country) for a possibility of pre-load that still hasn't been mentioned or just purchase a cheaper copy from somewhere else and possibly end up waiting a little.
Kind of hung up on the choice - although should probably get the cheaper option, even if I have to wait a bit...

World didn't have a preload, so I wouldn't hold my breath for it.
