Crit Draw GS?
I made a quick set to try this out and it seems like, even with Crit Boost 3, the draw crits feel underwhelming. The build still needs a lot of optimizing, but has anyone else had success with Crit Draw on Great Sword? What's been your experience?

Crit draw died when True Charge Slash was added.

"Draw GS" as a method of play is still doing fine, but the Critical Draw skill itself sucks this time around. I like the concept - temporary buff instead of a flat bonus to the first attack - but it only lasts for 2 seconds iirc. That's not enough time to do anything but an absolutely immediate followup on GS, and absolutely not enough time to fit in your best moves.

If you're going to do crit draw, you better have quick sheathe else you're basically wasting your time.

Trying Crit Draw just because I find myself doing a lot of draw attacks while the monster is running around. A lot of monsters don't sit still long enough while they're enraged for me to get the full TCS combo off, and a single boosted draw slash seems like it could do more damage than a lvl 1 slash and lvl 1 strong slash.

Also, I switched to using Rage Slash.

What are good sources of Quick Sheathe? I forgot it got buffed in this game compared to World.

And you were right. The difference between QS 3 and no QS is like night and day.

I did it a bit in World for some fast monsters, I really don't like the play style.
Doing tackles and getting TCS is so much more satisfying

I'd avoid wasting slots on Quick Sheath in general for greatsword thanks to the silkbind skill. Probably not bad for the Crit Draw build tho

The new guard tackle alone i feel has buffed the GS dps by far as its a longer tackle and requires less time healing.

That and with how the rage charged slash seems to be uninterruptable with a large swathe of monster attacks has made GS way more manoeuvrable than in world at least

The silkbind sheathe is buffed by Quick Sheathe. It's expensive to slot in, yeah, but that dash gets pretty lightning fast.
Crit draw is awful as a skill. Even if you want to use a draw charge focused playstyle, you are better off just building for normal crit instead of crit draw.
