Anyone else noticed the voice when you paralyse Diablos?

When you either inflict paralysis or use a shock trap on Diablos, there is a strange soundbyte that plays that sounds like a woman's voice. They had it in World too. And I have never figured out what it says, nor why it is there...

No no. There is an actual voice saying something vague when Diablos gets para'd. Listen carefully next time (or when you use a shock trap). It is probably Japanese or somesuch.

Then you aren't paying close enough attention..... OR I suppose maybe it might not happen if you have the language set to English, but does anyone actually do that?
It certainly plays with the language set to either MH-language or Japanese.
It is a really weird voice, and I was surprised they included it in this one too since it was kinda conspicuous in World.

Why did someone even make this video??? That's even more creepypasta that Diablos's noises (I find the rather unique roar on that monster kinda spoopy).

There are videos for all sorts of things if you go poking around.
In any case, it is much clearer if you make a point of listening out for it in-game... Like just trap a Diablos and stop to listen. It really is creepy.

No. Black Diablos are all female Diablos in heat. Regular ones can be either gender.
For that matter, Black Diablos in World had the same noise when paralysed.
I need to do more testing with Apex Diablos and Paralysis to see if it does the same.

Well first of all I get what sounds you mean, but that doesn't sound like a woman's voice nor does it sound like Japanese or any other language for that matter. Sounds like guttural noises. I'm gonna check in my game with full volume now brb.

yes this it dont think it a voice if it was a voice it would be all over the Internet cuz you wouldn't have been the first to find it

I wasn't sure what to make of it either, but other non-Diablos monsters don't have it. And it is completely distinct from the actual noises coming from Diablos... and definitely sounds like a voice, even if I don't recognise the language.

I mentioned it a few times in a few places (including Reddit) for World... but it just got ignored. Nobody said anything. I guess it got buried and they never saw.
It is definitely a voice though. It sounds completely unlike any of the monster noises and doesn't fit in at all.

well then you can get one of those Sonic visualizers get proof that that it's a voice and then get news article about it so good luck

I mean yeah he does those noises alright. I think I even heard them when he wasn't paralysed during some of his attacks. And it does sound somewhat human.
On second thought, let's not dig deeper lest we reveal a terrible secret... Don't look up what devil means in Italian...
