Ibushi/Narwa Armor

Is it okay that armor made from final (sort of) boss is complete garbage? No slots+weed based skill set...I was really disapponted to see this "set", Can't find any reason to craft it. And yeah upgraded version is bad too.
In MH World boss armor was at least decent but i can't even call this nonsence a proper armor set. More like some cheap event armor to farm some event tickets.

Narwa and Ibushi armor is crap, but Valstrax is universally considered pretty solid. Likewise Teostra,Chameleos, and Kushala can all be used for something so the 2 original Elder Dragons really got the short end of the stick this time.

Final boss gear in MH is never really the best possible, just a decent one to run while grinding for an optimal set. For example: Xeno, Shara, Nakarkos, Atahl-ka, Dalamadur, Gogmazios, Ceadeus, and Dire Miralis all have pretty mediocre sets. As far as Narwa and Ibushi go, the Stormsoul skill lets you do a pretty decent mixed set with a lot of comfort skills depending on your weapon.

It's not crap but kinda situational. When fully upgraded and then unpgraded again (upgrade with armor spheres and again with Origin materials) they get the Stormsoul skill which increases the effects of other armor skills (except decos and talismans IIRC) by 1 with four pieces and by 2 at five pieces. There's actually some pretty good mixed sets for some weapons. I used mixed Narwa/Ibushi for Gunlance on Switch

Narwa and Ibushi once upgraded can be mixed and matched together. It's a good comfort set. Especially if you use Dragon or Thunder. The first "final bosses" are never usually meant to give you overpowered armor, because then everyone would just use that.

Past HR50.

That being said, it still is pretty random armor.
I'd say its alright and nicely customizable for rookies, but min maxers aren't going to get anything out of it.

when you really kill Narwa you are going to get Scale of Origin to upgrade the armor, for every new piece you upgrade you are going to get:
Level 1: Thunder and Dragon attack +5%
Level 2: Thunder and Dragon attack +10%
Level 3: Thunder and Dragon attack +15%
Level 4: Also increases the level of other skills by +1
Level 5: Also increases the level of other skills by +1 (Stacks with previous Bonus)
this came with update 3.0 of the game!

valstrax would be solid if there wasnt this random player in every group that uses lifepowder as soon as someone loses hp.
amazing solo armor, but in random mp pretty useless.

It can be a decent CB set when pieces of each are mixed together but.... a half decent talisman can yield mixed sets that produce far better skill combos.

The real issue i had with the sets is that they have crap slots (1* or none). But for just some defense to grind out other pieces they worked well with other parts i had (like golden, radka)
