Are you mixing up the moxxie with insurance?
EDIT: this is also not the case just tested it. This for more is just 100% not working the onyl reason id eat something that is a low chance to proc is for the fact that it seems pretty op
after it procs the mark is gone and your not longer safe.
That is reviver - for going down everyone around you gets a heal boost.
Sorry, I am not understanding you. I blame my fever.
What I can say is: you are not the first to ask something similar, so I try to clarify:
I think people mean this dango:

The effect is visible like with the turtle:

When you take damage which equals or is higher than the marker which would make you faint, the moxie keeps you alive once.
It does not work like insurance where you can faint once for free. That is a different thing.
Speaking off this boss. He is the most annoying boss in the game. does a near one shot combo if hit by it :^) plus if you get knocked down he often does that long range attack that with in a second of being knocked down he uses it making it like a pixel perfect wire bug you have to do to dodge. His move set so far is the most cancer move set ive seen in this game.
Otherwise it's only going to work if you're above the health threshold which should be marked on your health bar with two arrows pointing up and down, similar to this > < but vertical. If your health is below that and you get hit to 0 HP, you'll just cart. If it's above it, you'll live with 1 HP. The effect only happens once.
If you mean Zinogre, I think you are mistaking the triple attack for one attack. But then again, I am in no shape to think right now due to fever... I might come back to this thread next time. ^^;;;;
he is much easier in rise, but i guess meeting him the first time is still hard.
treat it like a turn based fight, dont even think of attacking randomly.
just run around him until he does stuff like his beam, whack him a few time, then its his turn again. in general you can punish him after every move combo he does.
I also got the revive to work once :^) so I had to have been doing something wrong. Maybe it just has proced before but a dot killed me or something.
If you are having trouble with Rajang try attacking/breaking his tail when he's powered up, easier said than done I know but this will bring him out of that state and also leave him open for you to attack. (200+ hours on switch before somebody says it
Good luck and happy hunting friend!
Just fought him. With Gunlance. So...
