"Failed to Save" Bug - Fix Live Now! (Patch Ver.3.6.1.1)

Hey Hunters,

We're pleased to share with you that Patch Version 3.6.1.1 is live now and addresses the issue of some players not being able to play Monster Hunter Rise due to encountering the "Failed to Save" bug.

For those originally impacted by this bug, in order for the patch to fully work for you, the following steps must be followed:

1. Disable Steam Cloud and quit the game.

Go to your Library in the Steam client, right click on Monster Hunter Rise, then select [Properties] > [General] > [Steam Cloud] and remove the check mark.

2. Delete save data from the local files for the full version.
Go to the below folder and delete the "remote" folder.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\(User ID)\1446780\

*Be careful not to delete the wrong folder!
It is advised you copy the folders to another location before deleting them just to be safe.

3. Launch the game and create new save data.

4. Quit the game, and enable the Steam Cloud function you disabled in step 1.

5. The next time you launch the game, select "Upload to the Steam Cloud" in the dialogue window that appears.

I still have problems with starting the game even after the update, after the message not to close the game while it is saving it starts a kind of save with the wheel in the bottom right turning and then this error message arrives:

my computer specs are:
processor: 11th Gen Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-1165G7
ram: 8 gb
graphics card: Inter (R) Iris (R) Xe Graphics with total memory 4045 mb
the demo worked perfectly but the full game i can't play it what can i do?
with my computer I have not been able to play other games like phasmophobia which if I'm not mistaken has similar graphics needs

3.6.1.1 corrupted my existing save file...
I still have the files but they can't be loaded anymore.
On top of running into delays in the mandatory update and being unable to play for many hours, it ended up breaking what I previously had, this is quite upsetting and I can't believe I paid $81 to play a trouble shooting simulator...

I can't find remote in my file except D3D TOOL and Report .

same it's just stuck there..... I've tried everything on the list they gave to troubleshoot with no success

Same, ever since the new patch I have the same problem (stuck on the initial loading screen). Wasn't this the problem they tried to patch? For information , I did not have this previously

the graphics is the on problem left its so dark and u cant change it even when ur in game

Same. that kinda makes me mad af. I waited so long for it to come out on pc. My boyfriend is already playing since release, and I'm stuck here. Pissed. Fix it already

Applied the update and followed the instructions from the post. This fixed the save issue but it has deleted my saved data. I have 35 hours in game and was at the endgame content, now my only option in the menu is to start a new game. How do I get back my saved files?

Das Problem besteht weiterhin, auch nach dem Update, es war ein Downgrade,ich kann dass Spiel nicht starten, es steht immer ladervorgang und es lädt nicht, es geht gar nichts. Ich hänge immer am Ladebildschirm fest. Ladevorgang...bitte beende das Spiel nicht, ever and ever, a neverending loading bug

Mine just stays on the Loading, do not turn off part forever. Like I let it sit there for two hours and nothing.
