Where do you find those options?
In Windows Search, just type Exploit Protection. It's part of the Windows Defender Suite. There's a ton of stuff built in to protect ya PC that oddly many don't know about.
You are right. I do not recall such function despite I used Win 10 Pro since before its official release. But then also do not use the Windows Defender Suite because of Kaspersky.

Many advanced features. But there's the option to set to Off by Default (Control Flow Guard) then reboot and see if fixes the issue.
