Are there any other new monsters after HR100? (monster spoilers)

I know at HR100 you unlock Valstrax urgent quest, but is there anything else?

Just beat the allmother quest where you have to beat the two serpents. Is Valstrax the last boy? (apex variants not included)

Haven't reached MR100 yet, I just know it's where Valstrax appears, but i've never read anything beyond him so I was just curious.

Valstrax is the last non apex unlock. Each apex requires a certain HR and to have beat their rampage. Even still, I think the last apex HR cutoff is apex zin at 100.

You do need apex variants to craft some weapons and decos so it's not just bragging rights. Also by far the best lazurite jewel farm.

you can do them in rampage easily, they are for pretty important decos too. something like tenderizer or crit boost.

tenderzier doesnt need apex stuff. only critboost needs apex rath material. but only that.

Yeah, that's pretty much why I called the apex fights bragging rights. I didn't mean apex as a whole, but I think you can farm the materials needed from rampage as much as the regular apex fights. I believe, at least.

Besides, they're easy to farm while you level up HR through rampages anyway.

It's not the tickets, it's the apex blaze sac/ apex curlhorn/apex beast claw, etc you need. Crit boost jewel as mentioned needs 2 apex blaze sacs per jewel so you need 6 if you want to max everything and a fair amount of non rampage weapons take apex mats for their final upgrades.

You still need Defender tickets and, in case of Rampage weapons, Apex materials for the ramp-up skills.

Though I find it kinda funny you qualify Apex as "bragging rights"..... isn't that the entire game? lol

I feel like people aren't reading what i'm saying or i'm not explaining it right.


I am purely talking about the regular apex fights. I make a difference between the regular apex fight and the rampage apex fights.

I personally see no reason to do the regular one over the rampage one for the materials, hence why I call them bragging rights.


If i'm wrong, then i'll gladly admit it, but my understanding is that you can get the apex materials in said apex rampaged as well and thus, no need to do the imo harder regular apex fights, except for ''bragging rights'' as I said.

If you think about it, you can join a room and get three other people to finish quests for you while you idle at base camp, so fighting any monster at all is just for bragging rights.
