How do I find players to join me?

Me and my friend trying to do the first mp rampage quest and we made an open lobby and put join request for tue quest and after w attempts still not a single person joined before starting or during the quest. How do people join my lobby and quest???

Matchmaking for things other than key hub quests are irritating and I'm pretty sure they're just not too good with mutliplayer in general. Finding one for a rampage? GOOD LUCK. I use a discord server, but it's kind of a ♥♥♥♥♥ to use because it's all the games condensed into one server. Should probably try to find a Rise specific server to team with others. You'll post in looking for group chat servers with your server ID attached.

Me and my friend ended up joining 2 sep in quest groups via join request but when we did this people did not join us...

You could go to reddit and look for a discord club, Im on one with over 40 players that play different version of MH and that are always up for a hunt.'

its easier to just join someone elses than trying to get people to join your own unfortunately

I must be missing something, I joined 4-5 lobbies, saw only 1 person in one of them, followed him/her to the mailcat where they exited the lobby.

Unable to see where players are, unable to see if there is some quest to join. An absolutely terrible experience.

On top of that it seems high rank is made for multiplayer only... I guess this game was only solo up until HR4, feel kind of cheated now.

no idea, if i were to guess, its by luck since it just sends you to the first instance of that quest it finds, which is much more annoying than worlds system where you could choose a specific instance someone else started

Yeah so far seems like the online in MHR is very poor no doubt due to being designed on the switch with it's redundant online system.

Finding players for specific quest is difficult

The online experience is a big step back in terms of connecting and questing with players in comparison to MHW.

For the first HUB rampage I actually did that today and managed to joined a group right as it started. Seems joining is the way to go.

if me and my friend are coop how do we join another game together? when i joined it only put me in and he had to join his own. how does a group join an existing game?

Not 100% sure but don't think there is a way to do that

when i joined the quest i just selected the quest and then the game looked for a session. I didn't get a list so unless i am mistaken you guys would just have to do it at the same time and hope you luck out and end up in the same group.

^this, its random for whatever reason, Capcom apparently didnt think that part through
