2. That’s just horrid luck. I’ve done almost all of my high rank hunts in multiplayer and have had exactly 2 hunts where the monster was almost dead by the time I joined
3. No they aren’t. Hub monsters scale to single player
Whilst Hub monsters do have separate scaling for all player counts including solo players even as a solo player they still have more HP than monsters in Village quests and as such will take more time as OP noted.
Either use two Gathering cats if you're aiming for loot, or one Fighter and one Bomber if you're aiming to just get things killed ASAP. It should work out fine.
The hub stuff is tougher than village, but playing it solo is still a LOT easier than it was in the old games.
As to the other stuff... coincidence... or bad internet possibly. I often get dragged into the end of hunts too, but often get the beginning too.
In the same sense that junior league baseball is more complicated than T-ball, sure. It's more accurate to say the Village was scaled even further down, and the Hub is the baseline, so that the Village could serve as an extended tutorial for newer players. solo Hub monsters are relatively on par with what they would be when running solo in World
2. Game isn't even cracked so there's no way for me to be playing the "pirated" version, idk about the little mouse icon that tells you if someone owns a game or why it's not showing for me but I do own the game and I've already put as much as 47 hours into it.
This also happened to me on numerous occasions, as soon as the monster starts limping suddenly 3 people flood my game..
Sure, solo hub is the baseline and that's how I'd usually explain it but regardless of how you put it solo hub quests are still more difficult than village and as such will take longer which is all I was clarifying.
As for comparisons to World those are all well and good when a user has indicated that they've played World but we (the community collectively) shouldn't just be assuming everyone posting has played previous games in the series.
