MONSTER HUNTER RISE

MONSTER HUNTER RISE

Elgado
After I have mentioned it in the other thread, I am more and more curious about the upcoming new hub - as I have no idea if Elgado is part of the existing known Monster Hunter World (like Kamura being near to Yukumo) or if it is a new frontier.

It is also highly interesting that it seems the theme of the game is from the far east Asia going to something which would remind somewhat of a Portuguese/Spanish setting with the outfit and the Kingdom from where Rondine hails.

Even the idea that in the trailer we have seen her sister is intriguing, as she looks almost like a twin sister - resembling somewhat the Kamura twins in setting.

The change of the intro sequences from Haikus to something more western poem seems to be a very strong contrast, right?

What are your thoughts of what might expect us at Elgado / Sunbreak?

i am thinking the new area elgado
might be more like transylvania due to the vampire bat like elder dragon and the odogaron
sub species might be like a werewolf stronger at night then the day time

Elgado is shaping up to be a Medieval European settlement, maybe a castle, and a screenshot shared by the official Monster Hunter channels on Twitter have teased a Ship that seems to either be in dock or sailing. That screenshot can be seen here

That the screenshot is made on the ship is an actually interesting detail. I did not pay much attention to it, but the idea of a moving hub has its charm too.

Elgado is a word away from Delgado, which is a very common last name / old school settlement name in Spain, which aligns with the trailer.

Yeah, it seems to be Spanish, especially with how Rondine and her sister look like Spaniards.
