It sounds like you just started with the game. When you are more experienced with Almudron you might think differently of them. It is from my point of view at least not as bad as you make it sound. They are just different.
one of the coolest fights visually and all of his armor and weapons are gorgeous though
these monsters with exaggerated movement i find the most annoying, all the twisting and turning and flipping and spinning and all this ♥♥♥♥...Mizutsune, Almudron, Kadachi..these "i'm gonna do a flip and a spin and a twist for no reason before i attack"
-eye roll
for me Chameleos is the most fun Fight ever, goss harag is just annoying so it depends on the person not the regular style.
Different weapons can also impact a lot what monsters you are going to like or not
just like Nergigante he's too fast and twitchy for how big he is and the way he attacks is often confusing like i will get hit when i think i'm safe or when he's not even targeting me but the hitbox hits me anyway and i'm like "wow whatever" eye roll
ughh nope
Never ever do that xD
if you choose a Weapon because of its "looks" you never gonna Win vs Valstrax xD
The Game is all about getting the needed stuff together for every encounter later to have the best performance in combat against every enemy, trust me, i know what iam talking about, if you just choose weapons or armor because they look cool...then sorry wrong game for you^^
I do not think that is what they meant by that. You might want to reread.
I like to underline this. I have had seen my fair share of hunters which claim "a hunt is hard" or "they hate that one" just to find out they never ever tried something else than dual blades. That was disheartening.
By the time you're at the end, like you and many who claim to be bored Rise, and like I for World, you change up weapons.
Getting used to a weapon and adapting to the monster is the only way to go.
What monsters in Rise requires you to "change things up" when, according to many, "this is the easiest MH game there ever was"?
There a lot of contradictions here
