MHW with IB is the better deal.
Rise, being 50% right now (according to you) is also a pretty good deal.

play them both
get your fill of mhw first and then play mhr

2 different beast and playstyle .
Now the real question is , how much money you are willing to part ? Is pre-order that important to you ?

Why cant people find information and compare the 2 games themselves?
Too many clueless souls posting the same dumb crap like it was never posted before. People need to look around before mindlessly posting.

There are most likely videos on youtube about this... Maybe take a minute from your empty life and use sources of information that provide all the answers for you. Google and YouTube... Sad people still cant figure this out in todays world of social media.

MHW is miles better!

Personally think Rise is the better game, when comparing base games. Iceborne tilts it in worlds favor just because more content.

I haven't bought MH Rise yet so I can't compare which game is better but I can compare on price. MHW 25$ has 35 monsters to hunt, the graphics are better, the world in the game is more vivid. MH Rise 60$ has 40 monsters to hunt, worse graphics, more boring world, weapons with many new movesets, pretty cool monster riding mechanics. Rise is $35 more expensive, but the difference in the number of monsters is very small. Not to mention World also has DLC Iceborn, the price of both is only 65$.

Next week can it be my turn to post this thread?

MHW beats rise by a mile. iceborne makes that even more so. only thing rise has on world is its party system with joining and doing quests together.

Someone hasn't seen base World.

if world is better then rise they sure make active effort to make it miserable, ugly, and poorly optimized

World is infinitely more ambitious than Rise, and is thus much more demanding on the system. Rise is an upscaled Nintendo Switch game on PC, and it is a nice little MH title no doubt about it, but comparing it to World is just useless.

As for MHW being miserable and ugly? I don’t know what you are trying to say, but MHW is objectively the advanced MH title to date, and I never felt miserable playing it.

Almost 5 years since it released and MHW still has just as many if not more active players on PC than MHR.
