What would you wish from a proper Monster Hunter discord?

I am still pondering about that topic of having a proper Monster Hunter discord channel for fellow-minded hunters, after all the time, despite the first receivements was not that so good.

Let us make a game out of it by you just throwing in stuff what would you wish from such a discord?

Also @Jester givers - I started to absolutely hate those since my niche thread. Just keep those jesters awards to yourself. If you do not: joke's on you as you can impossibly afford to mark all my threads and posts with jesters - I take them and make nice awards out of the points to reward helpful and smart comments.

I disagree with your strange perception. Especially when I am thinking of other, more active players, which are indeed represented in more sections of the community hub and beyond in regards of Monster Hunter on Steam.

Maybe have a different/separate channel for all main monster hunter and spin offs? So ppl who owns different games could ask for builds or find a party easily

I could write a big list,but I think it will just boil down to being fun and comfortable to be in.

Fun,meaning as just having decent amount of interesting conversations to have,or enough active players to always find a cool party to hunt with.

Comfortable,meaning as having some proper Admins/Moderators that don't just hop into server once a day to chat and then log off,nor abuse their power. In other words,just chill place to be in.

Speaking of Discord Server,are you looking to make one?

Changing to jester awards topic..I am not sure if that's the good idea to tell trolls,that are looking for negative reaction,that you hate them.Won't they just see it as success and try even harder?
Although if their intent was more of a..childish mischief I suppose that can work.

I always welcome detailed descriptions. The fact that people are reluctant about such makes others hard to see we mean it when we want something "special" and especially good.

I cannot make a discord server due to regional law. But I am used to content management and free company management. Though that is something I am sure many others can do too.

About the jesters: I am convinced that they cannot manage it and will only fail in their efforts, making themselves... well... jesters.

There already is an "Unofficial Official" monster hunter discord called the Gathering Hall. It's been up since like 2016 and has channels not just for World and Rise, but 4U and Generations too, on top of LFG channels for grouping, 30 voice channels for hunting, discussion channels for every single weapon and prowlers, and general unrelated chat channels.

I know about two actually. It is just that the feedback which you could read on these forums are not that great about them. And room for improvement is always availble with dynamics.

Also I am looking more for what the people actually want who decided not to be part of the two mentioned discord.

Maybe some ideas could help establish an official Capcom supported channel. At least none was mentioned so far for Monster Hunter Rise.

A comment born by experience. It is not my first attempt to start a discussion which could be interesting and beneficial to the Steam Monster Hunter Rise community. Just to have it plastered by jesters and spoilers.

Though the little efforts those jesters do are powerless as anticipated, considering how they limit it this time only to this thread. They simply cannot afford more beyond the little mischief.

I do not understand why you keep bringing up the LFG part. Has that abbreviation a different meaning for you?

Don't let those haters get you down. Seeing how matchmaking works on steam, you are doing us all a favor with your attempt at creating a Discord Channel.
Finding a match on Switch was really enjoyable, albeit I got queued with japanese/chinese people 80% all the time. Making friends like that was rather hard. If you want to create a Discord Channel, make sure to add lots of channel categories to join, like LFG, channels for low rank monsters (like Low-Rank XYZ Monster) and also the same for High Rank. Right now I'm trying to craft my old gear from switch again, but it really is rather hard. Having a channel like Apex Rathian etc. would help a lot. So here are some channels, you might wanna add:
Low Rank
High Rank
Looking for Group
Low Rank Events
High Rank Events <--- finding people for these is quite annoying.
HR Grinding
Storyquest Grinding

Those are some ideas I could come up with. Keep up your enthusiasm and keep making this place feel more lively.
