Depends on the price. Knowing me I would properly buy it for nostalgic reason just to drop it after an hour or two like I did with the MH4U remaster for Switch.
It is easy to get used to newer more fluid gameplay and graphics, and so much harder to get back to ... that kind of nostalgic stuff.
Ironically enough, I have a much less troublesome time replaying games with pixelated graphics, but the old 3D polygons stuff is a different matter... I cannot wait for Advance Wars...
I enjoyed playing through Freedom Unite a bit recently, was very fun, even getting gored by a "boss" Bullfango while I was collecting mushrooms lol, but the camera system gave me a bit of a headache and wouldn't fully work with some creative remapping of my gamepad either.
It'd be fun going through 'em again. Would especially enjoy taking a crack at Frontier lol, to see what all the fuss is about.
On the other hand, I'd prefer them to focus all their resources and manpower on making new instalments to the franchise, rather than digging up old dreams. Plus people wouldn't shut up about the graphics being "bad" either, lol.
But yeah I'd buy it just to have ready access to it whenever I felt like playing it again, without having to jump through any hoops.
MH4U Got a Switch remaster???
4U only exists in 3DS
And somewhat possible, Capcom is talking more and more about how it's profitable to have old games on pc since you will sell the game without the restrictions of console lifetimes and that they therefor want to focus more on pc going forward
Those would be good spots to do it. Could also give them the generations treatment, and give them the maps of other games in the generations
Kokoto and Minegarde for 1st gen, Jumbo, Dundorma, and Pokke for second gen, Moga, Loc Lac, Yukumo, and Port Tanzia for 3rd gen. 4th gen already would have all of its maps as base.
