example: 14x 5 seconds compared to 14x10 seconds thats double damage...
when ur playing multi-player its almost impossible to keep a monster poisoned 100% of the time unless its a joint effort.
its just everything else about the armor is bad
I had a lot of fun with SnS Chaos Oil in MHXX though, since it gave you Mind's Eye for free and element SnS was pretty solid for a variety of reasons
It still is very much worth using for the very simple fact that it spares you from bouncing. The third rank is admittedly somewhat pointless, however the first two still massively improve your output against tough spots, simply because you are not constantly interrupted.
That makes sense. I'd bounce a lot with my Magna CB but still occasionally see the blast proc go off on a bounce. For hunts I need to not bounce, it does help but is more situational than something like Bludgeoner
