Could someone share their keybinds for bow
Swapping over to M&K for ranged and the default key binds are absolutely horrible. I would appreciate someone sharing their key binds for Bow

First go to settings>camera>gunner reticle controls: type 1 is hold, type 2 is toggle ( you might want to use type 2 )

Then in the gunner settings, i use :
- Lock On/Change Target - Ctrl
- Reload/Load/Remove Coating/Silkbind - R
- Weapon/Wirebug Reticle (Hold) - C
- Item Bar (Hold)/Reset Camera - Q
- Ammo/Coatings Bar, Scroll Up - Mouse side button
- Ammo/Coatings Bar, Scroll Down - Mouse side button

The rest are default.

i'd recommend you to go to the training zone and start changing everything to something that suits you

Here's how you use M+KB for the bow. Ctril+Tab, move the mouse to the monitor which I am playinh MHR, then press any button on my XBox Elite controller and use that instead.

Yeah, because a single thumb controlling an analog stick that's dependent on acceleration, magnetism, lock-on, or other aim-assist features is SO MUCH more satisfying than controlling a mouse, whose DPI, polling rate, and 1:1 raw input can be adjusted for consistency across every display or game. That means muscle memory buildup is possible, which stick aiming by its nature is incapable of, Not to mention there are infinitely more muscles in your wrist and elbow than in your thumb.

Try doing this with a thumb-stick: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEJIoKtHu6k

So.. care to explain why OP should just use an Xbox Elite controller?

Why would you take a tongue-in-cheek comment so seriously? You on the spectrum?
This ain't a shooter, it's a very incompetent one when using MKB.

OP, take this advice from someone with around 300 hours in MHW using the bow in MKB. Use a controller, especially for ranged weapons. Too many key-binds and menus for the slightest of moves, menus are hard to access and counter intuitive.

And the payoff for your efforts? Literally trivializing the game: ranged weapons already make MH games very easy, with mouse precise aiming, more so. Keep your MKB for actual shooters that requires you to click heads, not to kill big slow targets that cannot hit you and are 80% made of weak parts. How fun is that?

Press Ctrl+Tab, switch to your controller, and use that instead.
