best skills for hunting horn?

Try getting Attack Boost., Horn Maestro, and Weakness Exploit.

Get the Rampage Agitato S (Rampage Tree) with Sharpness Level 1/Attack Boost 4, Non-Elemental Boost, and Attack Melody 2

Horn maestro is a must have. Slugger and Stamina Thief are great as well, even in multiplayer with the amount of hits you will be dishing to both the head and everywhere else that monster will get ko'd super fast and be forever hungry and slow.

this.
i dropped stuff like slugger, doesnt seem to do much for 3 important slots.
wirebug whisper 3 is nice if you want to spam earthshaker, but also dropped that for more consistent damage.

Earthshaker is a very large component of HH damage, you should consider it core to your build

other than what was recommended healing song on agitato is sooooo good. Your get health recovery (the one that regens over time) all the time cause it's on Circle and it's basicly the one attack you use all the time as it extends to anything. And everyone is happy cause you keep their health all the time at the top (unless they are complete pepega). And i think it also gives you earplugs L. In any case you literally just sit in monsters face al the time with this cause you never loose health.

I agree. Echo melody with Healing Melody 2 is amazing. Infernal Melody give you attack boost so if you're looking for a safer multiplayer build, like the quote it's good to also try out Healing Melody.

horn maestro, critical boost, weakness exploit, squeeze in as much crit eye and attack as you can (goal is ~80% affinity or higher on weak points) and i highly recommend handicraft if you're running rampage agitato.

i use extra crit eye to compensate for negative affinity on bazel horn, i have a rampage horn as well but like to use bazel every now and then since it has decent songs and the same raw damage as rampage + blast

It does not have the same raw damage. Rampage Hunting Horn has more raw damage with ramp-up skills.

literally none of the other horns are worth it once you get rampage s just because of the customability of the weapon and the high dmg that you can make even higher if that's your thing. i don't even think other weapon are on the same level as horn when it comes to rampage weapon.

cool, i already said i have a rampage horn because as you say it's the better horn overall, i'm just using the bazel horn for fun. i didn't post that screenshot to argue over meta horns lol
