but i prefer the Palamutes

I never really made a good build with them but someone recently suggested a blunt palamute stuns a lot so now I'm really curious what is best. I like sharpening while riding but I don't think its really necessary as imo it probably only gives a few seconds of time but if palimutes function better with stunning with blunt, I might have to rethink my choices.
Here are two examples of how it looks like

using palicos atm to level all to 50 for the achievement, but i guess i go back to palamutes after the last one. in the end both dont matter much.

I am not entirely against Palamutes. I just love the utility you have from Palicoes. Whether it is reliable heal, or surpreme support during Rampage. They hardly ever stop to amaze me.
And whether it is Palamute or Palico - it just looks so brutally cool when a monster charges on you and you see a buddy from the side knocking the monster down before it reaches you. If you want some suggestions on the skills and moves ~ check out my tips for beginners at the guide section. I have the feeling what you find there might be worth your time.
I would be happy if it turns out to be helpful to you ~ though it is no real guide. More a wild collection of tips and tricks for beginners. In fact: I specialise in stuff which is not obvious. Other guides seem to cover what is already known from the ingame tutorial or just straightforward walkthroughs. I am trying ~ something different.
Well, it can have disadvantages when you are not alone. That is true.
