When does preorder bonus expire?

So I'm not really interested into preorder since it's just some skins and they don't matter with mods and all.

But let's say I want to actually preorder it. When does the bonus expire? Is it the second the game gets released and is available for download or is it like a few hours, days or weeks before it releases?

I guess it should expired when the game is available since it is a pre order bonus

Most likely what's going to happen is the pre-order bonus will just become a purchaseable add-on later on down the road, maybe even right after release. The only thing you really get by pre-ordering then is saving the 5 or 6 bucks it would cost you to buy the bonus later.

I assume it's any point leading up to the release. That's how it was on Switch anyway; as long as you purchase the game by way of pre-order, you should have access to the content.
