As someone who works for a major video game company, I can definitely tell you that Win 7 is pretty much being dropped everywhere. Even windows 8 is generally a low-priority concern now for compatibility. This all shifts even moreso with windows 11 available, and will continue to move away from supporting older OSes from there.
Having an unsupported OS like Windows 7 is a downgrade from Windows 10
You mean 'open' the registry? It's not exactly locked behind anything. You're supposed to be able to change it. Most people just don't know how without breaking something.
No amount of 'unsupported' will make 10 any less ♥♥♥♥
Windows 7 shills can go home, my Win 3.1 has all the features it needs, without the Telemetry that later versions added - including windows 7.
If this game doesn’t release on windows xp or the game boy I won't be buying it then. I mean no ♥♥♥♥, if it doesn’t run on the platform you have why would you buy it?
I didn't like 10 at first. Got used to it on my work machines, and upgraded once the pandemic started to work from home.
It's made literally no difference. There's a tiny handful of annoyances that you adapt to and fix within the first few days, and after that it's like nothing changed.
