Can't set borderless fullscreen

For some reason, whenever I try to select borderless, the menu is fighting it? I can hold the direction and it just rapidly switches back between borderless and full. Any ideas why?

try setting up the resolution to match you screen then Borderless Window.

I set mine to 1920x1080p + Borderless window

Unfortunately, it seems to be affecting those options as well. Like I can't seem to actually switch anything

If I force between windowed and fullscreen with alt + enter it also crashes

I sadly never did, but you might be able to use a 3rd party program such as Borderless Gaming to force it
I see a Nexus mod but that might be outdated, best of luck!

Managed to use the Nexus mod, to force the game into borderless window and then change the settings of the game. Additionally if you have a ultra wide screen you need to apply the ultra wide fix and it should work. Mode is called Forced Display Settings, works in Jul 2024. Hope this helps.

this maybe old but what it should be is an application taking control of your window
and not allowing the control back if you downloaded something before this happened there you go

so does this still not work? we need third party software to alt tab faster? kinda annoying when you wanna look up stuff and its slow, and steam overlay browser is bad
