How to use silkbind abilities on m/kb?

I have the switch version, but I can't seem to figure out how to use them on m/kb? I didn't learn about silkbind abilities until a bit into the full game, so perhaps we don't have any in the demo?

default is hold middle mouse button and left or right click. In practice kinda awkward so i changed the middle mouse button to a keyboard key.

what is the option name called? I plan to try bowguns & bow on pc (for m/kb precision) and I don't seem to have anything happen with them, but I do with melee weapons.

Silkbind/reticle (hold) or something under key bindings

on bowgun i think you actually use the sprint key, but they really need to fix that
