Possible crash fix: launch the game in Win 8 compatibility mode

I read someone on reddit suggesting to launch the game in compatibility mode and to my surprise it actually worked for me. I was able to get past the splash screen until the compiling shaders screen.

In case you don't know how to do it:
1. Go to File Explorer
2. Find the MH Demo .exe file
3. right click > Properties > Compatibility
4. Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and select "Windows 8" from the drop down menu
5. Click on OK/Apply

It may not work for everyone but it definitely did for me.

if that does not work, make sure you go into your anti virus and add the games EXE as an exception. I disabled my AV and it still wouldn't load, I posted a thread telling how I fixed it if you have bit defender, exactly how to do it, if you have a different AV i'm not sure, but pretty sure the AV is the reason.. now if I could just figure out how to play the game LOL KB and MOUSE is so complicated in this game
