Stuck chapter 7

It seems that I'm stuck at chapter 7. I first defeated the Night Nexus at the Fount of Knowledge without Bravebeater the game. Saved the game. Reloaded the save, and I'm stuck to talk to Lady Esmeralda. In the meantime got the bravebeater asterix. And when I go to Halcyonia to talk to the boat lady just talks about boat journeys and not a single cutscene trigger. What I did wrong? Please help.

Do you have Gambler and Salve Maker? If not, get those. If yes, check your save screen very carefully.

I looked on the youtube. You need to save on the special lovecraftian save slot (when you reload the game after defeating for the first time the Night Nexus) after you get the bravebeater asterix. That is what I didn't do. And Chapter 7 because of that didn't start.

And yes I had all the asterix.
