So, having multiple bards stacking damage buffs is good after you get the damage cap removal skill. I've since changed a couple of things over what I posted on that video.
A lot of people are using 2 bards to get 200%, and then using a debuffer to lower defenses + apply vulnerability with daub, then hitting for 99999s. I don't have the gear for an effective debuffer setup just yet. There's a lot of drops from portal fights you really need to make that setup work properly.
There is confusion about this, because if you examine the tab for effects in battle, the maximum it lists is 100%. I assumed 200% referred to the maximum you could get from more than one type of damage increasing buff/source. So, I assumed to hit 200% I'd need another damage multiplier increasing source that wasn't Bard songs.
Figure up how much % increase 1 bard song gives you, and use enough to get you over 100%, (probably take 2 bards unless you're maxed on gear and levels) and hit triangle (or the top button), scroll over to your party and see that the maximum it lists for % damage increase is 100% (inaccurate and misleading).
Also, abilities like Raw Power from Beastmaster don't apply a % damage increase, they apply a % increase to your attack stat, which means if you've got 999 attack, Raw Power from Beastmaster does nothing. But the Bard buffs for example are a straight up damage multiplier.
