Exiting the game after textures glitch out. Happens *frequently*
Someone on another forums told me to install this, i'll report back if that happened to fix it, but I doubt it will. Because it should have installed this along with the game.
Nope, it's not fixed. I went outside fought 5 battles, zoned back in Savalon, and the textures were glitched:

I noticed my CPU usage jump from like 10-15% usage to 85-90% usage when this glitch occurs. Whatever this bug is also causes CPU usage to spike in a very extreme way.
Does not matter what options i change, it never loads any textures, restarting also does not help.
I am trying different things, but I cannot find a solution.
Otherwise the came runs very smoothly and loads fast, just the textures are not loading at all.
Anyone find out how to solve it?
I have a ASUS VIVOBOOK
AMD Ryzen 7
16 GB RAM
Are your Nvidia/AMD drivers up to date?
Ryzen 7 has a bunch of different model numbers? Do you know specifically which Ryzen 7 you're using? Also, as I mentioned before, what GPU do you have?
(after updating, it seems to fickerin in the correct textures really quickly, then goes again, in a mini second)
I have AMD Ryzen 7 - 4700U
AMD Radeon Graphics Processor (0x1636)
@Funkshark does your laptop have another GPU in it? It's probably using the basic GPU that's on the CPU, if it's a "gaming" laptop they mostly have a more dedicated card which you need to switch to.
I have only 1 CPU, no other ones. This is not really a "gaming laptop"
The CPU AMD Ryzen 7 - 4700U has 8-cores, but no other CPU's are in this laptop
I run monitoring software in the background, and every so often the CPU usage will skyrocket from the usual low usage % to 85-90%, when this occurs, the textures glitch out and then loading screens are about 2-3x longer as well.
I've been playing through it, and saving often, and one time I walked away afk for a few minutes in the menu, came back and the CPU usage % dropped from the high/glitched amount of 85-90% back down to normal range, and whatever the bug is appears to have fixed itself temporarily? But if I keep playing it ultimately happens again at some point.
When the texture glitch occurs, if you try to open a shop, the game hangs, or crashes to desktop, but outside of that, you could technically play through it, although with glitched textures and longer loading times.
PC specs:
Ryzen 5 1600x
16GBs DDR4 3200mhz
GTX 1080ti (latest drivers, but it did the same on older ones as well)
1TB Samsung Evo 970 NVMe M.2 drive
Windows 10 pro 64 bit
Until they release a patch to fix this issue on PC, I can't recommend anyone buy it, certainly not at this price point. So, I've given the game a *thumbs down*.
You're having an entirely different issue from me. With me, the game runs fine until I hit a memory leak type situation where the CPU usage skyrockets, textures start glitching, accompanied by increased load times, and lower frame rates, and crashes.
You're saying this happens to you all the time. That's a separate issue, but yet another issue with the game nonetheless.
Also, you're running on integrated graphics on that laptop, which could be causing the issue you're experiencing, but my PC exceeds the recommended specs, whereas your laptop is sketchy.
