Second this. Steering assist should be entirely turned off when disabled by user, unless a feature of the specific vehicle the user is driving (KITT, Batmobile).

I'm adding an option to disable the "auto steer" on the match settings, and also going to add an option to set the steer aid strength in the game options in the 1.3 patch.

Has 1.3 patch released yet (or at least on consoles)? Playing on Xbox atm and my car keeps auto steering me into the middle of the path where traps and barriers are conveniently placed, I can't turn out of the way of them because the game overrides my input

Also wondering. Game has fallen out of rotation due to the wait for the 1.3 patch to restore older functionality of free control (and hopefully better AI cars that aren't stuck to the middle)

The game is currently in submission on all platforms. Hopefully aiming for an early march launch. Sorry about the delay.
