Is this as broken as I think it is?

Finally got inside the TARDIS and cannot do any of the Simon-Says control puzzles. Doesn't matter if I use mouse or controller the knobs flash off an on and I can't activate them in the proper sequence. I'm supposed to review this crap and can't even get past intro. WTF?

The last one is a flicker in the corner. I just played it on stream (also for review) and was able to get past it after a similar moment of 'huh?'. Let me know if you need a link to my stream to get past it.

The game highlits the 4 blinking switches, but you have to pull the main lever as the fifth thing. Dunno, if it flashes as well, as I had it outside of my field of view, but that's how you fly the TARDIS in the show itself, the Doctor makes adjustments using several different switches and controls and then pulls that big lever to actually take off. Took me several tries, before I noticed that after the last flashing switch, the time limit was still on, so I thought and tried several different things, until the big lever hit my brain.
