The developers have kindly shared the original models.

I don't want to push my luck but can you guys share the nude haydee 2 barefoot max file please
If someone could kindly make version of these in a blend format then the ball could really get rolling.

Even just a format that can be imported into blender would be useful.

I agree with zero about the nude Haydee file, I'd add that It would be pretty nice to have the high poly mesh the normal maps have been baked from as well.

That way modders wouldn't need to restore finer details lost in the process of creating the optimised game mesh when they create character mods instead they could just start from the high poly mesh and bake new textures for their mod.

Dumb question which enemy is Slashy and Ranger? As from what I've played no enemy is able to use guns so how can one be called "Ranger"? (Also kinda disappointed that the Corrupted Haydee enemies aren't called "Mantis"...)

Slashy is the new slashers, with the haydee body.
Rangers aren't enemies in the main game, but the "New Haydee" models you see with the black outfit are the Rangers.

Fun fact: The ranger was originally designed as an enemy for ranged attacks in Haydee 1. At the time, the player model of Haydee 1 was used as the placeholder of ranger. This may have affected Haydee 2's ranger appearance.

The distribution has been updated at the request of modders. Later I will add adapted Blender versions.

I have Max 2020 and it's unhappy using the 2018 file. Doesn't even want to save as a .max, probably best to port it into Blender and work from there?

I can't tell you anything about Max2020, because I don't know him. In Blender you can. But fine-tuning of skeletons is required for normal subsequent export to llaydee

Here fbx (binary, not ASCII), so I don't know how correctly they are imported into the MAX2020.
Spent some time making quads out of the triangles out a mesh I imported from the haydee tools in blender... Kinda now patting my self on the back at how close I am to the ground truth.

I did fbx export without triangulation, there should be no triangles.
