We have binary computers. Now we want balanced ternary version.
In some future i want dlc or update of that game where we build computer which uses balanced ternary logic. Where one "bit" can have one of three values. -1, 0, 1.

In future some scientist thinking that building ternary computer using fiberoptics is more faster solution than binary implementation.

Ternary computers make very little practical sense and are no more than theoretical talk at the moment. This would require a fundamental restructuring of computing and recreating quite literally everything that we have built so far.

Quaternary makes slightly more sense, but is still a far fetched idea.
Not true. USSR already build several ternary computers.

Also ternary logic allows more range in operations. Binary logic is wastly more popular, because it more easy to use. And implement. But research show that ternary computers will be faster up to 50%. IBM is now thinkig about building experemintal ternary computer. Also i read some russian blogs, where people designed and ordered to manufacture in China some simple ternary microchops.

have link to one of them. (In russian) https://habr.com/ru/post/500612/

If you're still implementing a design with transistors, ternary computing is a special application of analog computing, which is inherently finicky. Transistors have three states: cut-off (closed), saturated (open), and active (switching between the two). Digital computing works well on transistors since you don't really care *exactly* what voltage levels are required to switch between the two other states (as long as it's "close enough" to the midpoint), but analog computing (and ternary computing by extension) require the devices to operate accurately in the active range, and that's not only difficult to design, but you also have to have very precise control over your fabrication processes if you want to produce these devices in volume.

Even in optical computing, sticking to the binary "on/off" is far more reliable and consistent than trying to implement some in-between state.
For trenary implementation you just need element, which can output three distinct voltages. Max, Medium and Min. In binary you need only two. Max and Min if i understand correctly. Setun series computers if i understand corretly actualy used base element with 4 states. Only three are used. And Setun was only trenary computers which is entered serial production. 50 computers was build. Binary computers is dominating in our world, because is easer to build them.

And link to proposed trenary optical computer

In optical trenary computer you can represent three states, using polarised light. No light - zero. Horizontal polarised light - negative. Vetical polarised light - positive.

And i want trenary implementation, because i think is will be fun building trenary computer, after you build binary one. Also that way we can compare which computer faster in which tasks. But this is wish for future version of game. Or DLC for that game.
Also you can create trenary logical element using transistors. https://www.flickr.com/photos/theyoungthousands/sets/72157605274828930/
if you look here you can see fotos of oscilograf screen, where you can see three states.
