Suggestion - Multiple profiles/players
Hi, loving this game so far. It's basically a prettier version of my first year comp sci classes. Which is just fantastic. But I bought it to share with my kids, the eldest of which is getting into this sort of thing. It would be very nice if we could have separate profiles, so that when my progress doesn't affect them and vice versa.

Barring that, at least some way to easily reset or clear progress for the whole game, or specific levels would be nice.

I think that's a good suggestion.

Most of the "advanced" levels have an option to create as many new schematics as you would like (at least I haven't run into a limit yet). You'd be stuck sharing your progress up the tree but it kind of works like a reset of a specific level.

I would really like this feature, I wanted to let my gf try the game, but since all the levels were already solved, we couldn't really do this.

I was trying to figure out how to delete the save, but I couldn't find it.

I posted this to the reddit as well and Stuffe said

You can delete rename your save folder and the game will start over.
Depending on your OS it in one of these folders:
Windows %AppData%\godot\app_userdata\Turing Complete
Mac ~"/Library/Application Support/Godot/app_userdata/Turing Complete"
Linux ~"/.local/share/godot/app_userdata/Turing Complete"

Which does work, but there's an additional issue. Renaming the save data will reset the campaign, but not the state of each level. I completed each level and moved on without making any additional schematics, I expect that's what most people do.

But when you reset the save data doesn't do anything to the saved schematics. So when you clear a level and move on to the next one (one that was previously cleared before renaming the save data), it will load the Default schematic, which if you did the same thing I did, will be already completed.

So when I renamed the save data for my kid to redo the game, it reset the campaign, but whenever he started a level it would be pre-solved O_o... The solution was a bit more time consuming, I needed to go into each level individually and copy my solution to a new schematic, then clear the Default schematic.

This very much sounds like Steam cloud saves kicking in and partially restoring files.

Next time you could try explicitly turning off cloud saves for this game, then afterwards - while the game is not running - delete or rename the save folder, then start the game once. And finally, if you want, turn cloud saves on again with the fresh profile.

If you try, could you please report how this works out for you?

That's what Steam Family Sharing is for.
This game has it enabled.
