Unless maybe it's about collecting all the coins in the maze?
The "computer" available at that point has inherent limitation - you can only jump to first 63 bytes of program. Past that point, jumps no longer function. On top of that there are no functions, no labels in assembly, and only absolute jumps are supported. It is royal pain in the backside to program like this.
I know that I messed with raw machine code programming as a kid (typing octal codes), but that's no longer enjoyable right now.
Would you be so kind as to provide a hint, then?
Because I've tried scrolling the level map far away, clicking on every entry in the credits or options menu, but there doesn't seem to be anything there.
Go through the caves past the grey knight.
Thanks!
It was like... 3 extra lines added to my code?
It's really not that complicated.
