I said no because he should be punished for his actions but I think he was a good person who made very wrong decisions making him bad but not bad by nature. There were many other decisions a person could make like getting a new job or turning himself in that would not have led to death. If people kill others easily just because they are good people and have good reason then everyone would kill without consequences all the time. Everyone has a reason they do things. Like the Charlie guy has a who drug business and steals/kills others for his daughter but he is still a bad person that was no different than the main character.

I said no, he is a good person at heart but he should think before acting out and also because he should take responsibility for his actions even tho his motivation was in the right place.

no.the preceding questions were asked to my perspective. logical for me to answer the last one in the same way. maybe pretentious, but it felt to me that the game built the question up that didn't matter what the player thought of the character, intentional or not. anyways, i think i myself am not a good person.

I said no because I felt like there were other possible ways he could've taken to help pay for his needs.

I said NO, first of all, working for charlie, was wrong in the first place, especially as a detective. Revenge is always the wrong answer, in any case. He should of just sold the house, pay his bills, bought a cheap condo, and take care of his baby, and kept his job?. Interesting game btw.

I choose no. Because actions speak louder than words or thoughts. I do believe Matt had good intentions but just made very wrong descisions. It just felt like, Matt could have done something different. If he would have kept it that way and Ev wouldn't have caught him, he could have endangered hundreds of lifes. I mean, he already did. Also, he still could have put the money back in the safe. Taking Charlies life was simply not justified - Matt got himself in this position. Him and Charlie are not that much different, considering Charlie just does this all for his child too. Just because he killed "a bad guy" doesn't make the deed right.
But I did enjoy playing the game. It shows that often things are much more grey than you thinl

I chose yes. He did this for his son. Being a good person isn't always black and white

Charlie had a son too, could have been doing his thing for his son too, and you still killed him.

What doesn't make sense is that Matthew had a hundred thousand dollars or more that he took from the laundromat. His next communication with Charlie was by phone. How did the money end up in Charlie's safe?

I said yes, partially because I don't think people should be defined by their mistakes and also because he did it for his son and his medication; a really neat commentary on how people will do bad things to survive when they're in a situation out of their control. Were there better alternatives than covering up for Charlie? Absolutely. Was he a terrible cop? Of course! But, fear and stress caused him to do terribly stupid things, but that doesn't make him a bad person.
