I run the walking simulator group and i played almost ALL of them, even titles in languages i cannot speak (https://steamcommunity.com/groups/walkingsimulator).

IMHO this title is well worth 10 bucks, considering that trash titles litter the genre this days and ask for up to 19 dollars.

No, it's not 'everybody's gone to the rapture' but so what? Were 'dear esther' and 'the stanley parable' not masterpieces because they had low budgets? Absolutely not.

Then you have the totally unexpected extras menu, the achievement system, and apart from 1 bug (drop in fps due to lighting conditions in unity) and 3 little niggling details (1 reused asset and a situation where one asset 'floats in the air', this title is on par if not better than the average.

Please Fyre, charge for the next title. I'll happily pre-order it.

Well i'm not asking for money so - you're talking to the wrong person. Summerland is very inspired by the Stanley parable and was running badly for ONE scene. Considering it's free, and I play WSs that were priced at AAA levels to deliver a subpar experience, I maintain this is a good deal.

Perhaps however your reaction is why game devs are reluctant to go free or offer demos - too many people will to grab the pitchforks rather than understand the story being the development of the game.
