WHat do I use the console for (F10)

Hi I'm aware that F10 opens a console on this game but was wondering what it can be used for - any specific suggestions or points to resources that explain much appreciated! TIA

It’s not an actual “console”. It’s basically a fake DOS prompt. The idea was that you would hit F10 if you were playing this at work and your boss came in the room…sort of like alt-tabbing back to a work related program on a modern PC.

Other games of the era had similar features…some of older Sierra games definitely had this.
