It’s $39.99 . Triple AAA is $60 and up. The games Graphics don’t look low budget to me...but it is at least $10 too high for most people probably

The worth of a game vary from person to person, situation to situation. If there is any wrong here, are those that feel the need to ridicularize others.

Anyway, I was excited to play, but I rather wait for a sale. Already have too many games to keep me busy.

The problem is that you can get the Flight Edition for 49 $ / € for Switch / PS4 which includes the game on a separate disk, the soundtrack, an art book and a nice box!
I was really looking forward to play that game on release day, but I hate the fact that the devs still ignore the PC community by not offering a physical copy!
Here I have to vote with my wallet and I wait for a sale! Sorry, Irem.

It doesn't actually sit differently at all. it really does cost that much to make a game. You don't have to "defend" the game to realize that people like the above poster, the OP, etc are completely full of it.

It literally says what Deluxe does on the Deluxe bundle page, like every other bundle ever released on Steam.

Yep! Except R-Type Final 2 looks even better than that game, so there isn't the excuse of whining about graphics anymore.

The crazy thing is that people will whine about the price, but have no problem spending hundreds of dollars on a mobile game, or a super premium edition of a AAA title.

Exactly. For example, "free to play" games aren't actually free. They actually cost $1000s of dollars that not everyone pays for, but many will.

See also: completely unnecessary PC master race garbage like liquid cooling, RGB lights, bleeding edge CPUs/GPUs that literally no game takes advantage of, etc. Any "discussion" over pricing is a load of crap, because gamers have NO concept of value.

I listed Dariusburst Chronicle Saviours specifically because it was an STG with a relatively high asking price - much like this game. Though I think DBCS is still more expensive overall when at full price...

The benefits of Unreal Engine 4. They did make this game from scratch rather than using past source code despite Irem offering to provide Granzella with it, so if nothing else, I'll say that they put that to good use here...

Well, the real benefit isn't so much the engine as it is that Dariusburst is a heavily upgraded version of a game from 2009, and one for the PSP no less.

True, true, but hey, I'd say the choice to use UE4 did wonders for the graphical presentation overall and I'll stick by that. While it does end up chugging with heavy visual effects, it doesn't perform too badly on Nintendo Switch, either. That being said... 7.1 exists - and will really make the system cough and wheeze.
