Race difficulty is ridiculous

This game is clearly designed for children, and I'm a grown man with 30 years of gaming experience, and I lose on the easiest difficulty, lol.
I'll get basically as close to perfect as humanly possible, and still only get 2 stars on a mini game.
I tried the hardest and the easiest difficulty multiple times, and honestly, they feel the exact same.
My little kids (7 and 5) asked me to beat the race for them, because they were so frustrated trying to progress, and it took me multiple tries of failing.
Something seems very wrong here.

Playing against CPU, that's why I mentioned the difficulty. There's like easy medium and hard CPU races, and even the easiest is stupid hard.

try pvp. its even harder, they use macro for clicking, boosting they hamster.

Are the Hamsters trained? Did you train their statistics in the gym?
All mini-games are connected with the stats. If you can only get 2 stars, it means that your Hamster is not trained enough to score 3 stars in a certain mini-game.
