How do you participate in a blind auction?
I saw it mentioned when I completed a portion but i've driven around looking for a blind auction in blackrock and didn't notice one.

In the north of the map - near the second blacksmith - you have an Auction Point (Marker on the Map) - its a big warehouse - go there enter the building, and look at the board to see what auctions are available.
thank you
I must be blind. I went to the northern-most locksmith, the one near the clothing store, and I could not find any auction warehouse. I was looking for the POI on the map for blind auction and I had zero luck. I even drove around the housing areas near there. I must be blind.

Blind auction warehouse is east of the locksmith in Black Elk. In the far NE corner of the map.

Or just north of the home you can buy in East Black Elk. If you can find the house on the map, just look above that.

Thank you! I will give that a try. I was focused on the NW corner.
I did find it, turns out I was there before and just didn't know it. So thank you. I ran through about 3 auctions and didn't find them to be stellar (although I do get thats the idea of a blind auction, it's a pot shot). My issue isn't really that, but that they pile a bunch of small items in a box that you have to open, turn upside down, and then identify, repair, and load into your truck. It became very tedious. At least in the other auctions you "usually" have a chest you can open and fill with small items to make transport easier. Are there any tips for discerning if an auction might be good (i.e. special box sizes) or is it just truly random?

Glad you found it. They are truly random. No way to know what is in any box. I have dumped out the largest box and got.. a single soccer ball. So, ya, anything in any size box. You can put the items back into a cardboard box to move all the items to your truck. Heck you can even sell the box for a whopping $1 :steamhappy: lol. Just don't try to move the box without closing it first, bad things can happen.....
haha. Yeah I had some boxes closed and when I went to get t hem out of the truck back at the shop one had mysteriously opened and the stuff was everywhere. Yeah I opened a big box and the only thing inside was a jump rope! I do think it's interesting that some of the boxes feel like something a person might have dumped off. One of mine contained everything baseball. It had several rare balls, trophies, etc. etc. all baseball and that makes sense that an enthusiast might be getting rid of their stash.
