Audio Dub from the previous sam&max [French, German etc]

Hi, Any plan to incorporate french voice acting from the original version or remake a dub ?

Yeah... IIRC the French edition was released by Mindscape, a publisher now gone under. Plus it might be better to stick to English voices for continuity reasons, considering Season 3 never got a French dub (and maybe even Season 2?).

Im Ernst, langsam nervt es das nur noch Englisch als Sprachausgabe angeboten wird.
Habe persönlich kein Problem Englisch zu verstehen, es ist aber einfach schöner in seiner Nativen Sprache beschallt zu werden.

If the german voices aren't included I won't buy the game. This is a downgrade from the old version and I would have no problem with 'bad' voice quality.

It might be a good idea to ask not the original publishers (both gone under, but JoWooD apparently became part of THQ Nordic while part of Mindscape became Just for Games, assuming they did publish the game instead of a re-release), but the recording studios themselves if possible at all.

I kind of see where you're coming from, but at the same time it would mean adding variation in quality for the remaster instead of settling for high-quality voices only.
And the second part is a terrible idea in my opinion, that would mean trading the original voice actors for random people and introducing a lot of extra variables that would not be there with a professional dub. Though I'm wondering how they're going to deal with Season 3, since it's only in English.

Why not let the customers choose if they want low quality voices or not? If the only chance for the old german voices in the remaster is a "classic voice pack" DLC than I would buy it the first day of release. But to make the decision for the costumer to not include it (because it is at a low qualitiy) this it is not costumer friendly. However, the remaster will never ever have german voices so I have no motivation to buy this games again. And this is a costumer decision!

That's the precise reason why I won't buy this version. French dub was sooo good in the original. Telltale hired the same french voice actor for Sam and Max as in the old Lucasart game. And this actor was brilliant. So, no french dub, no buy. It's as simple as that.

It's the same treason they did with ghosbuters remastered. The original had an excellent french dub with the same voice actors as in the movies. Then they did a remastered and cut all non english dub, so I didn't buy.

Then, I also heard of the censorship about this game. Hey skunkape, you can keep your ♥♥♥♥. The original was 10 times better.

C'est Atari (anciennement infograme) qui avait les droits de publication en France avec la VF, du coup c'est eux qui ont sans doute les originaux, mais je pense que c'est une excuse bidon la compression, de toute façon le remaster a beaucoup changé et est censuré de ce que je lis, c'est ce qui faisait le charme de Sam&Max, même de l'animé, après c'était sûr vu ce qu'il se passe au US mais du coup je vais rester sur l'ancienne version et attendre une vraie suite de Hit the road avec de la VF... Flemme de payer pour un update graphique avec moins, ou bien plus tard quand il sera vraiment bas prix.
Mais à voir avec le temps avec ce studio et ce remaster, par exemple Beyond a steel sky a tout de même eu bien plus tard une VF en DLC gratuit, mais c'est Revolution Software, ils ont toujours était au top pour les trads, peut être en parti parce que c'est un studio britannique, donc européen.

Ce n'est pas telltale qui s'est occupé du voice acting FR, de mémoire c'est Atari(anciennement infogrames), qui a fait aussi la distribution en France.

No need for insults tho, they did a good job to remaster it, its just doesnt suit you(and some others).

à savoir que c'est un studio US qui a une logique de censure pour convenir à un max de personne et au vu des tensions dans leur pays.
Soit, ils ne sont pas obligé de le faire vu que c'est "enfantin", mais tant pis... d'ailleurs c'est des anciens de telltale c'est pas un studio random... par contre c'est pas en insultant que tu vas changer quoique ce soit, si tu veux un doublage VF c'est sans doute possible mais pas comme ça, un studio tout neuf ne peut pas pondre un doublage VF, peut être en DLC comme avec les jeux Revolution Software.

perso je vais attendre une vraie suite et qui sait, avec un doublage VF, ou la sortie des 3 saisons remaster avec un prix très bas vu que j'ai déjà fini les anciens.

Atari n'a rien à voir là-dedans. Qu'est-ce que tu parles de "pondre une VF". La VF existe, les gars font un remaster du pauvre sans faire l'effort de rependre l'existant. Tu crois peut-être qu'on va les applaudir ?

je n'ai plus les CDs mais ca serai bien sympa ne serait ce que d'avoir un "patch fr" pour retrouver les voix Française. Cela ma manque tellement.
