No german voices?
The original had german dubbing language which was absent from the steam release of the first season. Would be nice to get these back in the remastered version.

(i know there a different opinions about the dubbing, but it wouldn't harm anybody to have those optional).

It's probably also a question of licensing the german audio track. Not sure if Telltale ever got the rights for that or if that stayed with the german publisher.

Still I agree it would be nice to have all available languages in the remastered version.

Als deutschsprachiger Adventure-Fan und Käufer der damaligen Retail-Version wäre ich sehr für eine deutsche Sprachausgabe. Wenn es keine deutsche Sprachausgabe geben wird, werde ich es nicht kaufen.

Actually, the dubbing was there, at least for Season 1. It was only missing for the other seasons.

I don't know if you are talking about the steam release of the original. On Retail (CD) all 3 seasons had been dubbed in german.

Maybe we can overwrite the audio files with the german ones of the original german version? :reyesscared::HappyOtus:

If this is possible I will buy the game almost immediately.

It's just not the same without Kai Taschner ...

Same goes for the french dub, sadly (Telltale managed to get the very same french voice actor who dubbed the original 1993 game, which was awesome).
French voice?
Putting the game in french in steam and in the game but it's only the subtitles. The first and second season got the french voices but not the remaster?

Ohne deutsche Sprachausgabe möchte ich das leider nicht Spielen.

Sehe ich ähnlich. Ohne deutsche Sprachausgabe bin ich raus.

Sadly the german version of Season One was catastrophic so it's for the better they did not include it here. Season Two even ditched Hans-Gerd Kilbinger and Sandra Schwittau and was even worse. So much that I didn't play 5 minutes before switching over to the english version. Season 3 is ok, bringing Schwittau back but still misses Kilbinger.

I remember the time where TellTale gave the Publishing rights to other publishers for each country. For example the german Voices didn't came from TellTale by itself. In this case it was JoWood from austria which published the game in germany, austria and switzerland.

Jowood doesn't exist anymore and i guess it's the same with german voices. It's better for us because the german voices were cut of cause of bad work...

In your case (and for other languages) they wanted to publish by itself on steam without other publisher so they don't got the voices from the other publisher and studios, I guess.
