Remember when Telltale got started on the wallets of point & click adventure game fans, and then turned around & ♥♥♥♥ all over the old customers as soon as it started having some success, instead chasing that sweet mainstream public?
Here we are again, WITH THE EXACT SAME PRODUCT!
How many of you are going to fall for it again? Get in the merry-go-round, kids! It's time for another ride!
What exactly would the trick here even be if it was being published by Telltale? No one's exactly being "tricked" into buying something they didn't want, mate.
So yeah, I´m buying this game again to have it on steam, hopefully it will exist as a single game and not the separated episodes like Season 3, and hopefully they will add achievements and the alike.
Plenty of games get remasters today, I´m glad for once it´s an adventure game.
"Some key scenes have been punched up with new acting and camerawork..."
This is the only reference to changing any of the dialog, only implying they've made small additions to some jokes to make them funnier, but otherwise it's the same joke.
I'm not really sure what use of the word "better" you're questioning here, because that could be in reference to anything, whether it be better in terms of audio quality (which they've also said has been improved), or better in terms of joke delivery, so it doesn't sound like a contradiction to me.
EDIT 12/3: Not correct! Turns out a few lines were changed (I didn't know that when I made this post). I'm sorry for any confusion that caused.
Thanks, and good luck with the release!
EDIT: This was wrong, see selected answer for examples
