How many factions ?

So far I have not found any info on how many factions will be playable.
I hope it is more then 2 this time.

Two to start with. I imagine they will add the other 4 factions or new factions over time if it's financially successful.

So will the rest come in expandalones or DLCs? Or you plan on taking this to different direction than bringing in Hordes and Invasion factions?

We have nothing to announce for post-release plans right now. Usually those decisions are based on how well the game does on launch. But with mods it's likely fans will add those old factions to the game before we could do any expansions.

I would like to see more factions and campaigns with those factions. Like see scrin like faction and maybe some others added. I like the 8 bit games. I hope you could do all sorts of modding like making your own campaigns and factions which would be nice. Im still wishlisting this as the 8 bit games were okay... not as good as command and conquer but close enough.

Depending on how well 9BA sells we may be able do more. However, we are hoping that by including new modding support it will open up to fans being able to add their own units too.
