Linux version/Proton compatibility?

Obviously making the entire game run natively on linux is a whole extra task, but what's the likelihood of this working with Steam Proton?

Im currently playing this with Proton 5.13-6. It runs OK although ingame videos (like on some of the TVs in the bar) are not playing.
Ive tried newer versions, but that had a pretty big input delay for the keyboard, which made the game almost unplayable.

Why are you using such an outdated version of proton?... weirdo
